When you are a Trustee of a charity you have to think twice before spending the money or making an investment using the funds. It is not your money, and it is there in most cases to help someone in need. I was in that position when I was the Chairman of a Christian charity. We needed to invest funds with a long-term view of safety coupled with dividends to help us fulfil the objects of the Charity.
I instructed James Fielding to invest in domestic letting properties on our behalf. We have so far invested in a total of 15 properties, all of which James found for us and has since managed.
